Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Charging Systems website and, where applicable, quotations, purchases, rentals, installations, custom solutions and related services provided by Charging Systems.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African consumer law. The Consumer Protection Act promotes fair consumer transactions and standards of supplier conduct, while the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act regulates electronic communications and transactions.

2. Website Use
You may use our website for lawful purposes such as browsing products, requesting quotations and contacting our team.
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, submit fraudulent information, introduce malicious software or use protected website content without permission.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present accurate descriptions, photographs and specifications. However, product colours, finishes, screens, connectors, accessories, branding and configurations may vary between models or change as products are improved.
Please confirm any feature that is essential to your requirements before ordering.
4. Quotations & Orders
Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quotation does not automatically create a binding contract.
Quotes may be subject to stock availability, final specifications, delivery requirements, event dates, installation requirements and customisation.
Any additional terms stated in an accepted quotation, invoice or rental agreement form part of the relevant transaction.
5. Pricing & Payment
Prices and payment terms may vary depending on the product, service or customer requirements.
Unless included in your quotation, additional charges may apply for:
- Delivery or collection
- Installation or setup
- Custom branding
- Event transport
- Optional accessories or custom features
Payment requirements will be confirmed in the relevant quotation or invoice.
6. Delivery & Installation
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, suitable access and any required electrical or site infrastructure. Delays may occur due to stock, suppliers, couriers, customisation or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
7. Event Rentals
Rental equipment must be used responsibly and returned according to the agreed rental terms.
Customers may be responsible for reasonable charges relating to damaged, lost or missing equipment, late returns, additional transport or changes to agreed event arrangements.
Specific event-rental terms included in your quotation or agreement will apply to that rental.
8. Custom Branding
Customers may request customised colours, logos, graphics, advertisements or branded panels.
By supplying branding material, you confirm that you own or have permission to use it and that it does not unlawfully infringe another party’s rights.
Custom-made or branded products may be subject to different cancellation or return conditions where permitted by law.
9. Compatibility & Charging Performance
Different charging stations support different devices, cables, connectors and charging protocols.
Charging speed and compatibility may depend on the device, battery condition, connector, charging technology and station configuration. Customers should confirm critical compatibility requirements before purchasing or renting a unit.
10. Locks, Fingerprint & Access Systems
Some charging stations may include fingerprint recognition, PIN codes, keys, coins or other access-control systems.
These features are designed to improve convenience and security, but no locking or access system can guarantee absolute protection against theft, vandalism, misuse, technical malfunction or unauthorised access.
11. Returns, Defects & Warranties
Product returns, repairs, replacements, refunds and warranty claims will be handled according to the circumstances of the transaction, applicable warranty terms and South African consumer law.
Customers should notify Charging Systems promptly if they believe a product is defective or has been supplied incorrectly.
12. Liability & Responsible Use
Customers and end users must operate products according to supplied instructions and intended use.
To the extent permitted by law, Charging Systems will not be responsible for loss resulting from misuse, unauthorised modification, unsuitable installation, failure to follow instructions, third-party equipment or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights where doing so would be prohibited by law.
13. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
